For whom: Our course is designed for Enterprise Architects, Consultants, and Business Analysts alike.
Prerequisites: This course is only open to individuals who have completed the ArchiMate® 3.0 Foundation course. Prior to the exam, you will need approximately 20 hours of self-directed study to prepare for the exam. This mainly consists of reading the ArchiMate® 3.0 book.
Learning goals: At the end of this course you will:
-Have revisited the ArchiMate® 3.0 concepts
-Be able to apply the derivation rules for relationships in the language
-Understand the language customization mechanism
-Be able to apply ArchiMate® in complex modeling situations
-Be able to complete the ArchiMate® 3.0 Practitioner exam (with some self-directed study)
Course description: This one-day course is for those who want become ArchiMate® 3.0 Practitioners, and learn the advanced applications of the modeling language. You will learn advanced techniques, complex modeling situations and direct applications to your own real-world examples.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be ready to take the ArchiMate® 3.0 Practitioner exam at a Pearson Vue Testing Center. After you pass the exam you will be ArchiMate® 3.0 Practitioner certified and registered with The Open Group. Tarja is an all-round systems work and architecture professional. She is Coala’s no. 1 trainer. Tarja has architecture experience from both the private and public sector. She has actively participated in the working group that has produced the Finnish public sector JHS179 Recommendation for Enterprise Architecture. From Tarja you will hear how issues have been solved in Finland, and how enterprise architecture adaptation has been managed in practice.
Tarja also has over 27 years of experience in developing information systems, so she knows the value of architecture as well as its pitfalls. Tarja has extensive experience in training and constructing broad based training programs. She has been a trainer at Tieturi, and has taken part in making the first ever Enterprise Architecture training programs for the public sector together with the Ministry of Finance.
