For whom: Persons responsible for development or deployment of Enterprise Architecture (EA). Suitable also for the public sector.
Prerequisites: No prerequisites.
Learning goals: After the course, you will know the significance and ways to use EA. You will have a grasp of the actions and decisions needed to kick start your EA. You will be able to select the right approach for your organisation, and draw up a realistic plan for moving forward.
Course description: Enterprise Architecture is created and understood in various ways. There is no one way to succeed, instead, it makes sense to adjust your EA to suit the needs and resources of your organisation. When you understand certain points, you will be able to select the right approach for your organisation.
On the course, we will introduce EA content and possible uses. In addition, we will explain the actions and decision making process needed. The road to success is further ensured by a realistic plan for progression and proper communication.
The course material contains examples, so it does not matter if EA terminology is not familiar to you. In addition, it is not necessary to have in-depth knowledge about creating architecture, in order to plan for the launching and organisation of EA. The course concentrates more on organisational capabilities than modelling. Participants learn to understand resourcing needs, roles, tasks etc.
If you want to deepen your learning, after this you are ready to take the Taking control of your EA course.
